This past year has been quite a learning experience for me as I'm finishing my Master's degree on Project Management, which I'm looking to focus into the film industry, I'm currently halfway through my thesis and I hope that in the next few months I'm able to present it and be done with it, it's been taking a while to be done. My thesis subject is animation film production in Honduras (where I live). I also took on the challenge of getting myself into a film school pilot program (Escuela de Cine "Una Mirada Propia") with the Colectiva de Cineastas Hondureñas in which I had the opportunity to learn from great film teachers from across Latin America (like Vilma Liella from Puerto Rico, Natalia Solorzano from Costa Rica, Wanda Lopez Trelles from Argentina, among other really cool ladies I got the chance to learn from). I've been producing since 2018 an animated feature for BAST Animation (our Animation Studio with my husband), Ariana en el Mar de Nubes. Through BAST Animation, we did a 2D animated short film (we co-produced/co-directed it) for the BCIE Short Film Challenge (in Nov 2020) called Mi Casita de Cristal. I recently (in Dec 2020) produced my first live-action short film, Domingo, as the graduation project from "Una Mirada Propia". I'm also the Post-Production Producer for Indomita Salvaje of Coloso Producciones, through BAST Animation. I've got two shorts that I've written and want to direct/produce soon (one is a live-action/VFX and the other is a stop-motion animation), more from this quite soon, I hope. Even though I already have some projects completed and some that are currently in the making, I want to keep on learning.Introduce Yourself : Hello world by Alexandra Jimenez
