Hey everyone - I've been on Stage 32 since the beginning. I am a producer/director/writer primarily focused on animation, but branching off into live-action for a family-friendly audience. I recently started a studio with Full House costar Dave Coulier, called Grilled Cheese Media.
You can see the story here.

Hey, Bob Harper! Always good to see you post, sir! WOW, congratulations on your launch, that's awesome! And with Dave Coulier?!? How cool is that?!
Okay, let's play a game - if y'all at Grilled Cheese Media COULD HAVE produced any film or show, what would your top three be? (Basically, what are your favorites that you didn't make but are totally in line with what you would make).

Welcome again, Bob Harper, again!

Karen "Kay" Ross Hey Kay, Dave and I would probably have different answers to what movie or show we wish we could've produced as individuals. I would say the driving influences we have as a company are Jim Henson, Jay Ward, Hanna Barbera, and Looney Tunes.

Hi Bob! I'd love to connect with you. I've got an animated feature of which I already one first place in a pitching contest for and would LOVE any advice / feedback on how to get this thing made! Definitely my driving force is Jim Henson too with that old school adult appropriate humor that Looney Tunes and Hanna Barbera would play with.

Mmm, ALL solid choices, Bob Harper! Love it! Although I may have to go back and brush up on Jay Ward - I'm much more familiar with Looney Tunes and Jim Henson!
Jessica Mei Gershen Hey Jessica, your best bet is to get a manager to submit to production companies and studios.
That’s a great idea Bob, but how does one get a manager if they’ve no connections in with any? Cold calling is a no no...

Jessica Mei Gershen Cold calling managers is not a no-no. Agents are usually more unresponsive. If you have won a contest, I would leave with that and find managers on Stage 32 through connections and/or pitch sessions. The same goes for reaching out to independent production companies.
