ZAP! in the Kansas City FilmFest International

This morning news came in that my short film ZAP! was selected to the 25th Annual Kansas City FilmFest International! Congrats to all the team.

This selection is particularly sweet as our producer, Lesley Cessna-Kontowicz was born in Missouri and has family ties to Kansas City, and I spent my teen years in KC where I had the best English teacher ever in high school!

Several Stage32 members in our team!!

Congrats, Philip. I watched the trailer. It was funny.

Philip Sedgwick

Thank you, Maurice. The film's actual ending... right after the trailer cuts off... creates lots of LOL moments!

Maurice Vaughan

You're welcome. Sounds like a funny film. Are you working on other projects?

Philip Sedgwick

Thanks, Maurice. We get a heap of surprise laughter outburst at the end. Yeah, working on a heap of things... many (most) I'm not in the position to discuss. But I do want to do another short in 2021, then set my sights on grander schemes.

Maurice Vaughan

You're welcome. I understand you can't disclose the projects. What genre of short film are you looking to make?

Philip Sedgwick

It'll be a drama of sorts... I'm figuring to work with four primary actors for it... haven't decided which script I'll shoot of mine, but I'm percolating.

Maurice Vaughan

Ok. Looking forward to hearing more about your Drama short film as you work on it.
