Happy April, fellow Thesps. As things continue to look up this Spring, I taped an audition piece for a local Theatre Community that has - in the past - held their City-wide General Auditions in person to over 60-70 Theatre Producers at one time. Of course, now it's virtual, but they included Union actors, so a definite 'yes' from me.
Looking for two contracting pieces from the stack that I try to keep 'in audition level', I decided on the final two for reasons of length, contract, uniqueness, newness-to-me, etc., and realized after it was complete that my Shakespeare and modern movie Monologues were both cops!
