I'm an Italian director and screenwriter. I've studied Filmmaking in Rome (Italy) at the Cinema Academy of Cinecittà and at Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia with important Italian masters. I have directed several award winning fiction short films and documentaries. Three of them ("Inside the Mirror", "Out of the Depths", "The Other Side of the Moon") are part of the gothic "trilogy on the double", about what's really hidden in the human soul and the monsters that could lurk inside us. "Out of the Depths" is distributed in the US and worldwide by IndiePix Films. My experimental documentary "The Canvas Forge", about the birth of a painting, is ditributed on Amazon Prime Video (USA - UK).
My last short film "Tell Me Who I Am" won over 100 Awards at International Film Festivals all around the world in several countries (USA, Canada, Brazil, England, Spain, Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Russia, Ukraine, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Israel, Japan, Bhutan, India, Singapore, Indonesia, South Korea, etc.). The movie, whose soundtrack features the song “Piccola stella senza cielo” by the Italian singer-songwriter and rockstar Luciano Ligabue, deals with delicate and difficult issues such as the loss of memory, the search for one's lost identity and dignity, the violence against women and the attention to those who live on the margins of society. I’m really happy with the wonderful journey made by the film, but above all with the interest that the short has aroused, because it allowed to draw attention to important issues that I believe we never talk about enough and towards which it’s essential to raise awareness among people to forge our integration into the society as persons.
I'm working now on my first feature film and I'm looking for producers or funders: I've got ready the script for a drama fiction feature ("Red Is My Silence") and the story/synopsys/treatment for an amazing international blockbuster fantasy feature ("The Incredible Journey of Princess Rolanda").
