Hi all, I’m Jon and I’m a screenwriter based here in Edinburgh, Scotland, where I’m currently studying for a Masters in Screenwriting.
I’ve dabbled with screenwriting for a number of years but could never find the time to dedicate to it, so I quit my day job and signed up for a two-year course. Now I have some short film scripts and a 30’ comedy under my belt and I’m starting to research a time travel comedy for a younger audience set in Scotland - I’ll be writing the first two episodes over the summer.
On graduation I’m keen to find some work in script development or script editing, as well as trying to find some opportunities to write scripts for a living, perhaps in children’s TV.
