Lately I've been trying to open up opportunities for relevant industry folks to write a guest blog for my website, rather than just give the readers something from only me every week. These contributors tell me that they appreciate the chance to have something published on my site and that it helps them. Of course, not only is it their hope that they'll get seen by someone, perhaps translating into an opportunity of some kind for them, but isn't that what everyone is striving for?
It's now Saturday afternoon and I've been excited to have a week so full of results for my clients that I've had to be strategic about, 'Which client do I post about on social media today in terms of the most recent opportunity that I've gotten for them?!' I know, it's a good problem to have and I'm very thankful for it. (It's also why I keep a social media calendar, wink wink.) This goes a long way towards who I am as a person and in running my business that I like being able to talk about (promote) (post the wins achieved for) other people, rather than talking about myself. I know, kind of ironic given that I'm posting this under Introduce Yourself. :-)
Congratulations on all your success and the success of your clients, Bruce! Glad to have you as a part of the platform. "Branding" and "promotion" are areas where I feel creatives could always use a lot of help.
Thank you Jason Mirch. Although, I remember when I was a kid, we'd bring home a good report card and my dad would say, "Show me those marks in the higher grades." So as happy as I was with last week's results, it's Monday morning, so, now it's a new week to meet or exceed those.
P.S. - I'm glad to be on the platform. Next month will be my one-year anniversary on Stage 32 and it has been a great place to be!
