We have a completed international film and are seeking distribution. The film was shot in Nigeria and features several leading Nigerian actors but it is not the typical Nigerian film. It has been a while. I didn't realize that you were working for Stage 32. Sounds like that could be fun.
I'm living out in the sticks south of Denver nowadays so I don't get into Denver much or go to many DFS events. I didn't ever do Series Fest this year.
I co-produced this film along with Art Thomas (CFS Instructor) who served as one of two EP's on the film, the other is a Nigerian. Art and I met the Director/Writer of the film at CFS about seven years ago when the Nigerian government sent 30 members of the Nigerian Directors Guild to study at CFS for a month. We've been in contact with him ever since and this project came along and we all agreed to cooperate to get the film made. We would be happy to work with you on getting the information you want so let me know what you need and we will see what we can do for you. My two partners, Art and Newton Barabara, are both Stage 32 members. Newton has a small production company called Newton Barabara Studios and he was responsible for the hiring on the film. Outside of Art and me, it is 100 percent Nigerian cast and crew. All post was done in Nigeria as well. We have been talking to a couple of US distributors about doing a deal for North America and we are starting to look at international distribution as well. Hope to talk to you soon.
