In 11 days I'll be headed to the City of Angels for the 21st Shriekfest Film Festival at Raleigh Studios to hobnob with all the masters of the macabre. My creature feature Vermin is in the running for the Screenplay award. Drop by and get an early taste of Halloween chills.
In news closer to home, my action thriller, Got'Cha is a Quarter-finalist at the Orlando Film Festival held at the Cobb Theater in downtown Orlando in late October. Wow, Lots of writers here. Impressive. I'm just another. I write a lot. Have several successes. But none that truly satisfied. But I wish to say hello to the legion of the determined. Writing is a tease and a torment. But it just won't let you go sometimes, as though it's taking over your brain. Anyway, I wish all the best. And hope that many connections can be made. This seems to be one of the most important steps one can achieve. Grab the future.
