First off, Congratulations on crafting a crowdfunding campaign! A lot of filmmakers have not yet made it to that point. Having said that, I would offer two suggestions to help you get to your goal.
1. Describe what kind of thriller you are making. This helps to pinpoint donors that are more likely to fund you. For example, is your movie more like “Halloween” or “Quiet Place”?
2. Try to break down your large goal into increments. Donors like to see how you plan to use the money and if they’ll get a reward. I’ve seen successful crowdfunding campaigns that offer different donation amounts like $100, $500, etc.
Good luck and please keep us all updated on your progress!
