I am hoping I will be able to connect with that want-to-tell-stories-rightnow tribe. My main love is directing. I also write/produce to get to directing. I am looking for folks in Writing, Camera, Sound, Score, Production who want-to-tell-stories-rightnow. I have written and directed two features in India and am looking to tell stories on a global canvass. Love juxtaposing diverse, cultures, languages, places, people. Want to contribute to other’s creative journeys too. I am currently working on a short shot set in Washington D.C area & Hyderabad, India… [ on a Journalist from India, who is on a think tank meet, and comes to know that there is an arrest warrant out for her back in India ]. Also working on a microbudget-feature to be shot in India & another country/s where I can find a collaborator.
Want-to-tell-stories-rightnow tribe would be made up of souls who have a sense of urgency to tell stories. Monies will have to be secondary, in the sense we tell stories with whatever we have at our disposal… but hopefully the storytelling is nourishing and most importantly adds to your reel and creative journey. Yes, I would like us to pay attention to how to monetize a creative endeavor, but that is cherry on the cake. The cake is our story. STAGE32 - - how about a lounge dedicated to people who want-to-tell-stories-rightnow… : )
A scenario with want-to-tell-stories-rightnow lounge would be people posting what they can contribute and the lounge members can then see what all of that might mean for them in terms of stories that can be told. For example I can write/direct and produce content her in the U.S and also in India. I can also post the kind of stories am looking for, or if a story inspires me from another member, I can volunteer to help in the writing/produce/direct. One might get inspired by someone who can help film in the Merzouga desert in Morocco ( had shot an Ad there a while ago).

Thank you Maurice. One thing I have been thinking a lot is that, there have to be people who ( at this time in their life and art/craft) are rearing to go and do. Wouldn't it be amazing for those energies to jostle and for films/stories to come out from that.
