What's the best feature/movie you've seen this year? And why? (at a public theater or in your home theater via a streamer). I love AIR b/c I like the intersection of sports and film -- and I dug some of the creative decisions (no spoiler here). I loved OTTO b/c whatever Tom Hanks does works for me!
Fran Harris, I've heard a lot about both Air and A Man Called Otto, but I haven't had an opportunity to watch either yet. I need to get caught up on my "To Watch" list! So far, I've really enjoyed Somebody I Used To Know on Amazon and I had a blast seeing Dungeons and Dragons in theaters. It was such a fun movie and the cast was fantastic.
Ugh, I'm so terrible. I am way behind on features this year. I absolutely loved getting lost at the theater watching Avatar 2, though. Fully immersive and I loved being back in the world of Pandora again.
I think best feature I've seen this year is "Prey," Fran Harris. It kept elements from the older movies but added exciting new things.
The movie didn't drag: there was a great action scene, slower scenes (talking scenes, etc. -- slower scenes but not boring scenes), another great action scene, repeat.
I'm having a hard time remembering what I've seen so far this year! I'm going to go only with what I've seen in theaters, which I can only remember the big action blockbusters, so I guess I have to go with 'GOTG Vol.3' which was legitimately great, but def need to prioritize some indies this summer

David Foy Bauer do you recommend Avatar 2?

And it's a great underdog story.
