Hi everyone – thrilled to join the Stage32 community!
Originally from the U.S. and now based in Thailand, I’m returning to my lifelong passion: film. I’ve had a global career in fintech and also worked in music, acting, and behind-the-scenes on independent film projects.
I now run Takara Partners, where I help filmmakers develop and package their projects for investment — from budgets and comps to co-production strategies and sales planning. While I don’t finance films directly, I work closely with creators to position their projects for success and connect them with the right resources.
I’m passionate about supporting compelling stories from all regions—including Southeast Asia, LATAM, Eastern Europe, and the U.S.—and I work with filmmakers worldwide who are bringing powerful projects to life.
Looking forward to learning, collaborating, and being part of this incredible global community.

Hope you're enjoying your weekend, Gil. What's something filmmakers should know when developing and packaging projects?

Subject: Collaboration Opportunity — Iron Hill Limited Series
Hi Gilbert,
I came across your profile on Stage 32 and am really impressed by your experience and industry connections—especially in developing scripted, character-driven series.
I’m in the early stages of creating a limited series titled Iron Hill, inspired by true events in my husband’s Italian‑American family. It spans three generations—the rise and dramatic fall of a mining and trucking empire in a small Northeastern town. I’ve got a one‑page treatment ready, and the tone blends Succession meets Bloodline with the emotional core of Mare of Easttown.
I’m hoping to find a talented professional who would be interested in reviewing the treatment, exploring collaboration, or advising on next steps for development and pitch. If this kind of story aligns with your interests, I’d love to send it over and hear your thoughts.
Thank you so much for your time, and I greatly appreciate any advice or collaboration you might offer!
Warm regards,
Jodi
