What are you looking forward to doing over the holiday break from acting?

I spent my week leading up to Thanksgiving, doing a chat gpt self guided UFO themed tour based around my areas with a Welsh friend who hadn't seen most of Cali or Arizona before so she really enjoyed it. I am not even a big conspiracy theory or alien person but I thought the road trip would be a hoot. I'm someone who is always looking to try something, "different" over, "the norm" when it comes to anything in life. What are some of the creative ways you get yourself out and active during what's known as, "the slow season" for acting?

Maurice Vaughan

Hi, Brittany Christine. Hope you and your family had an incredible Thanksgiving! I basically just rest and watch .movies, shows, sports, and videos.

Brandon Keeton

Finishing up a feature film script that you were a part of for the short! Mwuhahahahaha! It'll be done by Christmas!

Brittany Christine

Maurice Vaughan that sounds lovely! Tis the season :)

Brittany Christine

Brandon Keeton I thought I was still a part of it for the feature too? Woohoo congrats! I'm most excited for the other two we talked about at Cannes, those youtube videos you showed me still haunt my dreams!

Ray Watters

Brittany Christine ...We're taking a Caribbean cruise from Dec 14 to 21st. Other times, we'll be busy spoiling our grandchildren and great grandson!

Ashley Renee Smith

Brittany Christine, this sounds like such a fun and thoughtful way to spend the holiday! I love that you created your own themed tour and shared the experience with someone seeing the area for the first time. That’s such a creative way to break out of the usual rhythm of the season.

For me, this holiday break is going to look a little different. I’ll be spending most of it moving into a new home, unpacking, and if I get the chance, maybe painting a few walls. I know I won’t get much done creatively, and honestly, I’m giving myself permission to be okay with that.

The funny thing is, I actually love the process of unpacking. There’s something about setting up a space, organizing it, and finding a new flow that becomes creatively fueling once the dust settles. I always feel more inspired when I have a fresh, intentional environment to create in.

And when I’m not buried in boxes, I’ll be binge-watching shows with my sister while she’s on break from college, which is its own kind of creative recharge.

Brittany Christine

Ray Watters that sounds amazing! Vacation away and family time at home with loved ones, best of both worlds! Happy Holidays

Brittany Christine

Ashley Renee Smith I love a good move! New spaces to get settled into is so much fun, I am with you on unpacking & reorganizing-putting belongings in new space mixes things up and gives me fresh eyes on them to help see/attach to each differently. Have you watched the Marie Kondo series? I highly recommend for anyone in a new place or decluttering, it really helped me during Covid. And sis time is the best! Have a wonderful time with her in your new home, Merry almost Christmas :D

Brittany Christine Every time I say, " Oh, I'll go on a trip, take an on purpose vacay…" I am on a set, in a meeting, and acting : ) I'm looking forward to the surprises December has in store, and going where the Universe takes me! And wishing all a wonderful, joyful, and lovely magic season of love and closings.

Juliana Philippi

Ashley Renee Smith I love unpacking too! I take it slow, way way slow though, or else I get a bit overloaded, lol. Congrats on a wonderful move, and such a great way to begin a new year! New place, new life…lots of love and light!!!

Maurice Vaughan Yup, that's what will be happening in between work, hubby and I will put on Xmas movies, and I am proud to say, I will be initiating him into "Love Actually". He hasn't seen it yet!!! And, he will be lovingly make me watch "Die Hard" with him…and at some point, Harry Potter is happening.

Hopefully I will be going to Colorado to see my family. I just need to buy those plane tickets.
