How does one protect their Series Bible and pitch material?

Hello Stage 32, I am messaging this forum to ask for advice on getting my materials protected. I already got my pilot registered, I just need to know about the other materials.

Art Arutyunyan

I tend to vet whoever I send my material to - not obsessively, but a quick IMDb and google check. At the same time, being overprotective can stop us from submitting, and we have to take every chance we get.

I know WGA allows registrations of Series Bibles and outlines. I would bet so does US Copyright

Art Arutyunyan I have had my materials made by someone who I have vetted, and now he wants to move to protecting my work before we get it in front of the right people.

Michael David I did not know WGA allows for registering such materials

Michael David

Justin Groats Oh yeah, they definitely do! When you register with them there's a whole drop down menu you can select to classify the nature of your submission. Almost anything you can imagine is covered.
