Screenwriting : Seeking writers by Sandy Nicholson

Good afternoon all! I'm looking for between 4 and 8 writers to join me in creating a site specific theatre production. Not Long Now is an immersive theatre project taking place in London 2013 in which the audience find themselves trapped in a large building while the early hours of a zombie apocalypse rage outside. We are looking for a team of writers to join the project and we are open to submissions. If you're interested in being part of the project you can read more about it at www.notlongnow.net and send your scripts to submissions@notlongnow.eu along with a short paragraph telling us a little about yourself. Submissions do not have to be zombie themed, nor do they have to be theatre scripts; just send us something that shows us why you feel you'd be suited to the project. A shortlist will then be prepared from the candidates we like the most, who will have the opportunity to tour the building. We'll then be holding short interviews to talk about your ideas for the project. Those who are finally chosen will be asked to produce a plot skeleton of their ideas. The writers' ideas will be combined, and key events factored in, so that the various groups of survivors will interact with one another. From here, writers will have free rein over their characters, plots and ideas. Unfortunately, due to the collaborative and site-specific nature of the project, we cannot accept submissions from writers who would be unable to travel to London regularly.
