Introduce Yourself : Working Screenwriter. by Suzanne Kelman

Hi there my name is Suzanne Kelman, and I am a storyteller :-) Right now I am working in the film industry, but in my past I have been a dancer, actress, author, comedian, playwright and stage director. I have wore many hats:-) Right now I love telling story on the screen. Because of my varied past I find it all really adds to my work as a screenwriter. I find myself writing scripts full of great character development and arcs (the actress in me), but I then I put on my director brain and think about how to create compelling pictures and story. I truly love what I do. I have two films in preproduction right now one will be filmed in Ireland in the Spring. I would say comedy is probably my strength, hence, in my acting life I am preparing to open in a regional Seattle theatre as "Becky" in "Becky's New Car"
