We are producing a 10-15 minute video for State Senator Paula Aboud, which will play at 'Get Out The Vote' rallies the end of September, online, and potentially edited down to a PSA for television. The footage will also be provided to news outlets. The focus of the video is women's rights, the history of a woman's right to vote, and the Arizona legislation signed into law over the past four years that has reduced women's rights (26 bills in all). WHO: Women, ages 18-40, all ethnicities, performance experience not required WHEN: THIS SUNDAY, August 26 (time TBA) LOCATION: Wilcox Playa (dry, cracked lake bed - very cool), 90-minutes from Central Tucson (directions provided to participants - carpooling possible) Credit and copy will be provided. We have a lovely group of 14 so far, but would love more. Just checked out the weather. 65 when we arrive and a high of 80 by the time we’re done. Nice! Yes, it’s a bit of a drive from Tucson, but well worth it.
