Distribution : Phoenix Comicon Film Festival -- submission deadline January 31 2013 by Alice Baker

The Phoenix Comicon Film Festival is in its ninth year and has been growing steadily since its inception. For the 2012 Film Festival last year, we experienced amazing growth with over 120 submissions from 14 different countries and our submissions from Arizona filmmakers more than doubled! We hope to continue this growth while improving the filmmaker and viewer experience each year. The Phoenix Comicon Film Festival is primarily a competition film festival and “Best of” recognition is awarded in a number of categories, such as “Best of Festival,” “Best of” each film type, and “Best of” each genre. For 2013 we have added a “Best of Arizona” award category to recognize and support our local Arizona filmmakers. Submissions for the Phoenix Comicon Film Festival will be accepted October 1, 2012 through January 31, 2013.
