The table read is for a comedy short and will be held on December 7, 2012. We welcome experienced actors and amateurs alike. Below is a breakdown of specific roles and requirements for each. Roles: Jamal - African-American male Age 22-28. Geeky, awkward, yet adorable. Mama - African-American female; warm motherly figure, age 40-50. Must be able to do a Southern accent. Plus size figure is preferred. Emily - Caucasian Female, Age 22-25. Must be able to speak proper English and pseudo urban street slang. Sheryl - Attractive African-American Female. Age 20-30. Able to do a Southern accent. Malik - African-American Male. "Comical Gangster" type able to do a Southern accent. Age 20-30.
