Screenwriting : Reality shows without all the conflict? by L.M. Butler

A fellow screenwriter commented on my travel/reality show treatment and advised that there was not enough conflict. My question is, can't we write reality shows that are entertaining and informative without people yelling and screaming at each other? Or is this simply the nature to reality show concepts?
