Filmmaking / Directing : The end by Nelson Terry

I just completed my first screenplay. I adapted a (very) short story I wrote back in April. It concerns an the Grim Reaper, and an old man filled with regret. I had been hoping to put a short film together and possibly submit it for consideration for next year's Little Rock Film Festival, but I honestly don't know where to begin. I've never filmed anything before. Lighting, editing, all of that is new to me...
