Introduce Yourself : Screenwriter and Comedy writer by Maggie Lawrence

Hi everyone. I'm sure I sound a little strange but I actually enjoy writing comedy. It started when I was a rebellious teenager and I used to turn upsetting situations and annoying people into satirical sketches. Well I guess that's better than taking drugs right? I have several un-produced sit-com pilots (some have been nominated for awards) and about four feature length screenplays that I would like to get made. One of them won an award in Hollywood and was shortlisted in two other US screenwriting competitions and got the most amazing script editor's report saying they could not find a single thing that needed more work!! A first for me. But still I have been unsuccessful in finding a producer for this film. I am hoping to connect with people on this site that could lead to a mutually rewarding collaboration.
