Anything Goes : Firefly and other Canceled Shows by Patrick Amunson

I recently bought the entire series of Firefly on iTunes and instantly fell in love with everything about this show. Why is it that cool shows like this get only one season and then are scrapped but series like Jersey Shore or Teen Mom go on for multiple seasons? I'd love it if a bunch of creative fans just got together one day and started making the show again... I heard Nathan Fillion was trying to get the show back on the air a while ago but haven't heard any news about it for a long time. Anyone have an update on a possible Firefly Season 2? They kinda just left us hanging. Now I heard that Arrested Development is due to have not only a miniseries but also a full length feature film. I'm willing to wait a while for art to arrive. It's just usually down to the politics ($$$) of everything that causes these delays. Also, whatever happened to Heroes? That was a GREAT series!
