Last year, at the age of sixty-two, I became a first time novelist. I have no academic qualifications whatsoever. My novel, The Desolate Garden, has been ranked alongside The Third Man, The Constant Gardener and The 39 Steps and, like all three of those English classics, it too is being made into a film. This process starts this year in the United Arab Emirates and then, on location in London with $30,000,000 being the overall cost. It is available on forty-four worldwide internet sites in Hardcover, Paperback, Kindle and Nook and has been featured in ‘The Sunday Times Book Club.’
Fantastic! Congrats!!!
Thank you, that's kind of you.

CONGRATULATIONS! Once again proving - you're never too old to start. Stan Lee was 43 when he started drawing comic book superheroes. Harlan "Colonel" Sanders was 66 when he started sharing his famous chicken. Roget published the first Thesaurus at Age 73.

I wasn't planning on doing any of those things but if I'm not doing anything next year I'll give it go. I'm English with a strange sense of humour.

What's that they say? Luck is when timing meets preparation? I'm a firm believer that luck only occurs when you put yourself in a position to receive it!
