Amy, I would like to be involved in your project. I've 20 years experience editing and mixing audio for TV and film and am confident I could give you a great sounding book. What are you looking to accomplish with the sound in post? Music, sfx?
No music or sfx. It's taking out extra breaths, making sure there isn't any extra background noise (I made everything silent outside of my voice for my initial audition, but I believe room tone would be fine, too) and making sure the timing and such with the read works well. The book is 450 pages, so the end product could be 6 hours or more...It's a romance novel, so it could be fun to listen to! But it would take some hours just making sure the final product is clean and in the specifications that have been provided to me. Still interested?
Yep, it sounds like the type of audio polish I do all the time. You could upload your files to my ftp site and I can return them to you in any format you desire.
