I'm working to have some effects in my short " The coach " please help me if you can .

please if you can help me , i ask of you kindly , to answer me above . I'm working to produce my short movie , low budget with lots of people that have no experience including my self with effects movie production , though its what i want , i kind of thought , that i can find some one [s] who can help from here and share idea with me on how i can go about it , that's why i posed that question above , , please help and respond to this

Did you ever get a solution for this problem? My answer would be to do it practically, the Cg would have to be top shelf , but I would attempt it using smoke 2012 ... What's the scene?

@ Martin Spfx to answer you , not yet with the answer , and 2, the scene is ext , collapsed building=day , Man fights to get him self off building debris as fire guts place , we see his jacket gutting fire as he continually struggle to get him self off , unfortunately he fails to save him self in time and die in the scene . .

Do a stunt! Full body burn , but do it in sections , first the coat , then the coat arms, and finally light him up! Put full safeties in place and a smart ground team ... And you'll have a serious little gag in a bag ! The bg could be Cg if your keeping your costs low...

@ Martin i will appreciate if you can help me on this too , Man is being hanged onto a wall by a pole piece through his berry , , sorry for asking too much , but I'm producing ,my short drama ,|The Coach, topic requires extreme violence , meaning i can not do it with out visual effects . but i have no idea on how some of these thing can be done and yet i live in an area of almost no cinematic pictures , though i need to send my story to out side world , since what im talking about is controversial to human right , but people regard it as culture in here. Then replace the actor with a dummy ... In the final mark , yes it's scary even with full protections, but it's amazing , watch "The Divide" by the director of Hitman, little french director who's completely amazing ;), full body burn inside a set! Fire for Hire inc was the ground team. Stunts were handled by Rick Skene , fx was the ignition & b/up me and two others... Gives you an idea ... 15 sec burn ... Shot at 60 frames a second ;) cheers

Bin the scene and try a different tack which can be achieved with less hassle.....?
