I am from Trinidad and Tobago and I know the procedure to become a success, I have experience in my country, I got recognized as an actress from my government via a certificates. My acting coach is Angela Gibbs from LA, she acted in Drumline, Think like a man and her mom is Marla Gibbs from the Jefersons, Rafael Noble from LA as well. But I feel stuck, in Trinidad it is not easy, I dont have an agent, there isnt that in Trinidad, I dont have a manager, I do not know who to go to to get my acting career on track in the US and I need help and guidance with that can you please pretty please help and guide me? thanks. I also write screenplays, and its same problem.

I can't offer any help in your acting quest. As a producer who hires actors I look for people local to where I'm shooting. that saves me money. Hiring someone from out of the country is expensive. But I can help with some of your writing issues. Even from Trinidad you can contact agents in the US. If your scripts are excellent and marketable and you are an excellent writer then an agent would be happy to represent you.

Gina, IMO, you need to have a talent manager here in Los Angeles, California. Actors can live anywhere, as long as you can fly out to acting jobs. I've met SAG actors who travel all over just to audition/get acting jobs. Screenwriting is different. You need to live in Hollywood/Los Angeles are to meet with producers.
