Anyone know how to land a script reader spot at a production company? I know it's a somewhat dwindling profession but really enjoyed it as an intern at Prolific Entertainment.
(For others:If you've never done it before, you can take a course at UCLA- which i did.) One of the things mentioned was how to get a job. Essentially, contact the production company and inform them you're interested and ask about the process. Usually, they'll ask for a sample or two(covering an existing movie) and if they like your work, they'll keep you on file for future work. BTW, you don't have to live in LA to this.

I think you start by interning at a production company for little or no money and work your way up (see Swimming With Sharks).
