Introduce Yourself : Hello, my name is... by Vernon White

Hello, my name is Vernon white and I am a media producer in a corporate training group. I produce media used in virtual training classes, computer based training, and corporate media. I shoot, edit, and create graphics for the videos. Also, I help facilitate and produce live events using Adobe Connect as our virtual platform. I have experience in corporate graphics and media production along with experience in a top 10 media market with news production, specifically as a video editor on the weekend news. I am proficient in Adobe software suite including the new CC versions. We are in a Windows 7 environment in my corporate role. My personal editing uses Adobe CC and Final Cut 7 (Studio 3). I have edited with Grass Valley's News Edit suite in the television environment. My main shooting and production style is ENG or electronic news gathering. I do work in a more creative environment in training and I am expanding my horizons with the motion graphics work for our training media. I am looking for more industry contacts and local to Houston networking opportunities. Since I work for an international company, I am always looking for contacts in other locations in case we need help in front of or behind the camera... and to network with people doing production in other styles and using other processes. We can all share our unique experiences to help the entire community to learn from our experiences.
