So... We as actors sometimes doubt ourselves, our talents and work... But I have found a few tips that keep you chirpy in these shaky moments: 1) Write down a list of all the things you are good at... it will be bigger than you think! Even the smallest things like "card making" or "able to catch 5 fish in 10 seconds" will remind you that you have unique talents to offer to the world and that someone will want to learn or know about. 2) Surround yourself with those that make you feel good! Find your Robin and hit the town, or get yourself involved in something that makes you feel creatively alive. It will be a sure way to block out those negative vibes and give you a sizzling aura. 3) Do ten nice things in a day. Even if it is just smiling to 10 passers on the street, to making a cup of tea for someone (very English, I know) or doing something charitable. Those people will be infected with a happy bug and you will find peace in the fact that you have sent out a little ripple of goodness into the world. Thanks Guys and Dolls!

Nice list. I will say actors are the bravest people in the world. That's why I'm a writer. I don't have the courage or talent to be an actor.

Hello everyone. I love acting. My 1st time on stage it was at the age of 12... I remember my grandpa's face while watch my show (..) and I knew at that time acting is gonna be for me the most wonderful hobby. I don't want to be famous...I want to do and I do what I like the most ...ACTING. I'm glad that I've join to this site. I do hope that I'll meet great people and make real connections.

I have just been thinking about this today, and how it is easy as an actor to doubt yourself. But what I think also helps whilst you are not acting is to take yourself out of your head and see how other people view you externally. We are all our own worst enemy, but actually what we should realize is everyone wants you to do well :) Also.... I woke my housemate up with a cup of tea this morning, so that's one good English deed!
thanks for the responses guys and Kat I second that too. We have to take time out not only for ourselves but "of" ourselves :).
