Introduce Yourself : Philly Filmmaker by Jillian Bullock

I'm an author, screenwriter and filmmaker based in Philadelphia. Got my start in the business in 1991 when I interned on the set of Spike Lee's movie Malcolm X. Currently in development on a new film I wrote entitled A Sense of Purpose: Fighting For Our Lives. It centers on four war veterans, two men and two women, who return home and suffer from post traumatic stress disorder. The only method that helps them heal emotionally and find peace is an unconventional form of therapy - mixed martial arts.
