Introduce Yourself : Re-Introducing Myself by Michael Potts

I am Michael Potts, a philosophy Professor at Methodist University in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Over the years I have taken all the creative writing courses at Methodist University, gone through the Writer's Loft program through Middle Tennessee State University, and gone through the Odyssey Fantasy, Science Fiction, and Horror workshop at St. Anselm's College in Manchester, NH. Currently I have one completed full-length horror screenplay, "Obedience," that made finalist at the Fright Night and the Peachtree Village festivals. A short screenplay, "Business Meeting" was a semifinalist at Screamfest. Other writing projects include a novel, End of Summer (southern fiction), a full-length poetry book, Hiding from the Reaper and Other Horror Poems, and a poetry chapbook, From Field to Thicket. I am currently revising a second novel--this time a horror novel--and hope to revise two new screenplays soon. I look forward to meeting more of you through this forum.
