Favorite Acting workshop in NYC

What are your favorite acting workshops in NYC and why? I would like to take some acting workshops in improv, Meisner technique, etc. I have taken some through Carter Thor Studios( great workshops) and casting companies in Boston. I travel back and forth to NYC for work. I have a small role in a new pilot "Boston Taps " premiere date to be announced soon. I am a SAG-AFTRA actor looking for work and willing to go anywhere to work with a great script, writer, directors, actors, etc. Thanks!

This would make a great topic area I think. Professional Development is essential in my line of work as a still photographer, and I'd be nowhere without the insight, techniques, and collaboration workshops provide. Funny the list on the right column here doesn't have Workshops or Professional Development anywhere, just project development. Both are important. Any takers??

Upright Citizens Brigade is THE best place for improv training in NYC!

Right on, Dee. Man, just google "acting/theatre workshops in NYC" and it's almost ridiculous what comes up for NYC- an epicenter for sure. I'm in Atlanta, and there are plenty here too. I'm thinking we regionalize known workshops under a new column as resource for creatives looking to improve their skillset. I'm all about continuing education to hone your craft. Even seasoned pros continue to learn and refine their acting skills. I don't think anyone can say they've "arrived" and have learned all that can be learned. Truthfully, actors and other creatives are in the PRACTICE of acting, just like medical doctors are. Good stuff you guys!
