My writing partner, George H. Lacey and I are currently working with two screenwriters from Stage32 on two of our properties. We are looking for two additional screenwriters, preferably in the Southern California area, to collaborate on two more properties. Anyone who wants to find out more information, please contact me at pix4you@verizon.net, or George at ghlacey@earthlink.net
Here is a update to the above write-up. We have half a dozen treatments that our agent wants us to have made into SPEC scripts. We are looking primarily for writers in the Southern California area to be able to meet in person to discuss any developments.

I don't get it. Wouldn't your agent want you to script them, since it's your writing and voice that is going to sell them?
Just completed two of my own screenplays and at least two more are being worked on by two members of Stage32. Our agent would like us to produce more. We would like to collaborate with a few more writers.

Question still stands: Producers hire writers, even when they buy a spec. It's all about the individual writer and their unique voice. So how can some other writer write your script? The only way that makes sense is if you are a producer and it is a work for hire assignment. A writer is an individual, not interchangeable.
Who the heck is this agent? I'm with you, Martell.
You're welcome!
Our agent and manager like the two scripts that I have written and the script that was completed by another member of Stage32 and they will start pitching them next week. I have already started to turn another treatment into a script. As I mentioned before, there are at least five other treatments that our agent would like us to turn into scripts this year. Not enough time to do them all ourselves.
I would like to add that this is why we are looking for more collaborators.
