If you're pitching as part of a pitch fest feedback is good. If you're pitching to a producer you don't want feedback. You want them to want to hire you based on the pitch. The ideal pitch: you give then 30/40 seconds. The producer says, "Wow. Tell me more." Then you have them for the next three minutes.
It is a pitch fest session... So looking to hook them in the first minute and get some feedback then jump in. So start with the log line, or something else?
I think it went okay. I was nervous, but excited nervous so hopefully came across as passionate about the story. She did say that it was a good pitch, and if that's as good as it gets, for my first pitch, I'll take it. But of course, hoping it means she'll want to read the script. I really appreciate this forum and the tips I got, so thank you!
Do you have your 'hook'?
Pitch it in four.
Pitch it in four... So keep it short and leave room for questions?
Badda bing. Expect them to stop you at some point too. Don't let it throw you. In fact getting feedback is good. It shows Interest so don't ignore it
Good to know!! Thanks!

I wouldn't just regurgitate your log line. Might sound stiff
okay, but need to get them hooked in a minute... A quick scenario of the hero and his challenge?
Hook. Why is different? Why would someone pay $10 to see it?
Don't hold back the ending or the twists to your story. They need to know the whole film.
This is all great... Thank you so much Susana, JC, D Marcus. I'm feeling a lot more confident about this!
