Introduce Yourself : Introducing Myself by Scott Harper

Hello, My name is Scott Harper. I'm a bestselling, award-winning writer with 30+ short stories, and nine books published. One of my published short stories caught the attention of an independent film director/producer a few years ago. He subsequently hired me to write two screenplays for his company. Though neither has ever been made, that opened the door for me to screenwriting. Currently, I have a few creator-owned screenplays I'm trying to sell. One of those, "Dark River Lords", is currently on Amazon Studios, in their Premise War voting. My career has also branched into comic books—a long-time hobby that's become work. A TV series concept I have has been adapted as a webcomic by my wife (bestselling paranormal author Desirée Lee) and myself. That webcomic is called "MoonWraith". In the less than 80 weeks "MoonWraith" has been running, it had has over 50,000 hits. I have other comic book projects I am trying to sell. Also, an on-going comic book series based on my Wendy Markland novels is in the works. I also co-own a small publishing house with my wife. In addition to my writing work, I am the stay-at-home father for our wonderful 9-month-old daughter, avid reader, comic book collector, and gamer. My favorite comic book character is Batman, and my all-time favorite movie is "Ghostbusters".
