Definitely because it's supports almost all cameras, most codecs and formats save a few. Everyone in the industry uses Adobe software so it'll be easy to collaborate and share you projects. It's easy to use. The 3 main NLEs are Avid, Final Cut and Adobe. Avid also offers a free 30 day trial: http://www.avid.com/US/specialoffers/product-trials
