Introduce Yourself : Trip to Amazon/Shaman/Ayahusca, Video about life and death by Michelle Espinosa

Hello everyone! On July 27th, I am taking my mother who has breast cancer and refuses traditional western treatments from Los Angeles, California to Tena, Ecuador to be treated by an Incan descended Yachak (plant medicine curandero) for 30 days. She is in great spirits and in every other way healthy and full of energy. She's fun to be around and never complains though she will speak her mind. The shaman is well respected in Congress and at the University in Quito. I worked with him before and lived there with the family (in a tent on the land) for a few months. I am an American Film Institute graduate, writer, playwright and author. Three days every month for over three years I facilitate an Alternatives to Violence Project workshop at a local prison. I also facilitate AVP mini sessions at Homeboy Industries in Los Angeles. I am also a volunteer member and on-call manager with the L.A. Mayor's Crisis Response Team. I've been a Tibetan Buddhism (Vajrayana in the Drikung kagyu tradition) for eight years. I do not have the resources to hire and pay a professional. I can contribute a large portion of airfare and equipment we can carry on our backs. I'm looking for someone who is very interested in going to the Amazon and working with an incredible Shaman either for medical, spiritual, mental or addiction reasons. There would be a few ceremonies working with Ayahuasca and other plants he sees fit to treat you with. Also, it requires sensitivity and a wisdom based brilliance, having eyes wide open and knowing when and in what manner to capture precious moments. I'm looking for technical prowess, courage, ambition and drive but able to chill. And it must all be accomplished with the pack on your back and little else. I posted in jobs but it isn't necessarily a job though full credit will be given for any contribution. I'm looking for that person who was in as soon as they read the title.
