Greetings Everyone, My name is Paulette K. Kinnes. I am a professional freelance editor and writer (and reader!) based in Denver, Colorado. I have been freelancing for almost 9 years and have worked with more than 165 clients in a variety of ways. I spent 14 years in the legal field, drafting, editing, and proofreading documents for Colorado District Courts, the Colorado Court of Appeals, and the Colorado Supreme Court. I otherwise have a vast amount of experience in speaking and in customer service. In addition, I am a sports nut (Broncos, Nuggets, Rockies, and Avalanche) and am passionate about helping athletes, coaches, or others in the sports industry who have a fabulous story to tell, in whatever form they wish to tell it. Actually, I published one already as Ebook on amazon since some four months, but had only edited it myself. not very wise I know:-). I also have written exposé. Hi Masego, Yes, I would be happy to look at your manuscripts for you. I do charge for my services, as helping others with their manuscripts and screenplays is my full-time job, and it is how I earn my living. However, I offer all authors a free sample edit of the first few pages of their manuscripts. This does a couple of things. It allows an author to see how I am able to assist him with his manuscript. It also allows me to get a feel for how much work is involved and then to determine an editing fee. I generally do not quote a fee for work sight unseen, as this usually ends unhappily for both the author and the editor. Please feel free to send me the first 20 or so pages of your manuscript (or the first couple of chapters, or whatever makes sense to you). Please include the title of the book and any Table Of Contents that you may have. I welcome anything else that you may wish to share as well.
