As a UK producer I was finding it difficult to find professional voice artists in my area as their agents are always listing them as "London" artists. So, I decided to set up as simple register for voice artists. There is no charge and for the next few months I am just trying to gather artists onto the register. If you would like to be included please go to http://www.voiceartistsregister.com and register. After registering you can upload up to 10 mp3 voice sample. Would like to know what you think.
Because I want to find someone close by with the voice I need.
Ray i see this is posted as GLOBAL Voice Register... although from what you have in your post it would appear that you are actually looking for talent more centric to your UK locale...am i correct in this assumption?
Seika, No. I am looking to have a Global register so that anyone looking for a (say) Italian voice living in Chicago can find it. They will then be directed to that Voice artists or their agent to make the arrangements. It's purely a global dating agency!
Seika, sorry meant to say, I would use it to find voices in East-Sussex in southern England. But it's meant for anyone. anywhere to search.
Ok great it was a little unclear which was why I asked. Thank for the explanation :)
Sorry, hope that makes sense now. best wishes...
Ray, have you seen Voice Artists United (http://voiceartistsunited.com/), which is a directory for voice actors. I don't know if it's completely global, but there are voice actors from both Europe and North America listed.
Larry, I'm not sure your right. In England, if corporates could easily contact real Americans then I'm sure they would. Especially if that voice artist can supply by email within maybe 48 hours.
Good day Ray, I registered on your website. Thank you for the opportunity sir.
I have registered will upload my VO demo shortly...

Ray stick with what you want to achieve here. There are a number of VO registration/work sites out there mostly on this side of the pond. I belong to a bunch of them. The more the merrier I always say. :)
Thanks all for your interest and comments. Part of doing this is because it feeds into my other businesses. It helps drive people to my video production site in England and, as it serves google ads it may pay the odd few pounds towards the expenses of running the site.
