Personally, I love it. I look up projects I'm auditioning for to see if there is a summary or see what director or executive producers or cinematographers are involved. I said this in another post but it is relevant: It makes a huge difference sometimes to know that Steven Spielberg is involved vs Will Ferrell. Plus I like that I can search for productions filming nearby. I think it's pricey but it gets used so much by those behind the scenes I feel it's really worthwhile as a resource & as a promotional too.
