Prior to that I was a business owner in Southern California Southern California Mobility March 1983 – September 2001 (18 years 7 months)|California, Orange County Owner: Marad Industries Aero-Space Machine shop Owner: Marad International, commercial machine equipment warehouse national and international shipping and distribution. Owner: OEM Ford / Chrysler van converter Owner: Southern California Mobility Designed prototypes to improve existing equipment and develop innovative mobility products in all related areas. 1985 - 1987 Developed and promoted projects for Chrysler. Developed training programs for customer service and equipment service employees to help access the needs of their Physically Challenged customers for the Chrysler. Acted as liaison between corporations and government agencies to establish and implement guidelines & programs for ADA requirements, Vets and special needs kids. Sponsored the first handicap Boy Scout troop for "Special Needs Scouts" 767 SNS. Initiated funding for wheelchair hockey teams in southern California. Sat on the Board for the Veterans of West L.A.court case against the oil companies succeeding in stopping LA and big oil from taking away the Veterans property. Designed and built the first wheelchair accessible ride for Disney consulting them from 1994 - 2000 regarding accessibility issues for Theme Park Operations. Every day millions of handicap people live a better life through products, programs, sports, handicap children's organizations Bruce Marich has personally implemented.
