About Peter

Studied in the NYU/MFA Theater program; kicked around NYC for several years as an itinerant performer. After a few more years as a story analyst for two indie film companies, I emigrated to Rome, Italy, where I studied Italian and worked as a stand-in on The Godfather, Part III.

Back in the US, after being pursued by writer's block for longer than I'd like to admit. and after several years of skilled labor renovating a house in the Hamptons, I picked up the torch, er, pen, and started studying in an MFA program through Spalding University, in Louisville, Kentucky.

I finished a script! It performed well in the Final Draft/Big Break! And then...lots of navel gazing, including on a writing residency in Ireland!

Hey, anyhow you do it works for me. I've completed another thriller, and have outlined two other projects. I wrote a few short script adaptations, and am now about to plunge into FILMMAKING.

Somewhere along the line I co-founded a literary journal, and started a film festival celebrating the intersection of POETRY and FILM.

With one nonfiction book proposal floating around the publishing world, and another outline I'm developing, you're sure to pass by a title or two of mine in the years ahead and you won't remember a word of this BIO. But thanks for reading.

Unique traits: Inquisitive.
