About Velvet

Velvet Rhodes is an actress who hails from London, England, beginning her career in music playing and singing alternative rock music in several bands and then going onto theatre in London, England. As well as music, film and writing, she is an avid painter of fine oil paintings.

Acting since the age of 3, acting is her passion and film making is her joy. Recently starred in and produced THE PURPLE ZONE, wrote, directed, produced and starred in THE CELL PHONE and now is in pre-production for TICKET TO RIDE and in full production for the award winning ROOM FOR RENT THE SERIES, seven episodes so far which is a comedy webisode. FIRE SIGN GIRLS and MURDER IN PERSHING SQUARE are also coming up! Acting, writing, directing, producing, doing it all in all of her productions.

Some of her television appearances have been as Tabitha’s Cousin Witch on the daytime soap Passions as well as appearances in Hang Time, Dark Justice and Married…….With Children. Her first film was The Killing of Sister George and a multitude of bit parts followed in Rocky II, Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band, Mr. Mom, Batman Forever, Hot Under the Collar, Never Say MacBeth, Circuit Riders and many others.
