Alex graduated from Concordia University with a Major in Communication Studies and a Double Minor in Film Studies and Interdisciplinary Studies. Active in the arts and community health for several years, he was a sexual health facilitator for disenfranchised youth and a creative force behind the art exhibition/ fundraising event, ARTSIDA: Art Against AIDS (benefiting AIDS Community Care Montreal) ; the controversial campaign for ATOMc; the installation / performance piece Pinocchio #10, (FIMA Contemporary Experiences); and the short film Marlene's Little Mermaid (Image+Nation 24 and Radical Queer Semaine, 2012.). An actor, model and performance artist, Alex prefers the time behind the camera, daydreaming and music.
