When I was young, I always got in trouble for telling fibs on the playground. In truth, I loved seeing the reactions on my friends’ faces when I finished telling a juicy story. The feeling of bringing joy and entertainment to a seemingly average day is priceless. And ultimately what drives me to produce, write, and develop memorable stories.

Years later, I would soon learn to harness my love of storytelling and passion for entertainment at UNC-Chapel Hill. From classes like Advanced Media Production to Writing the One-Hour Television Dramas, I’ve learned to develop my craft and set myself apart as a unique and dynamic producer.

Through incredible internship opportunities at Warner Bros. Pictures and Media Res Studios, I have learned firsthand from media professionals how to alter a simple idea into a full-fledge blockbuster.

I may not be that little girl on a playground anymore, but my fire and passion to shock, excite, terrify, and inspire has certainly not changed. I’m MG Stephenson: a go-getter, a film enthusiast, a producer like no other.
