Kristin Fredricksson

Kristin Fredricksson is Artistic Director of Beady Eye Theatre making contemporary puppet and object theatre. She read Philosophy and Art History at Cambridge University before training with Jacques Lecoq 1996-98. Since she has worked as a performer mainly outside the UK, returning to form Beady Eye in 2009. Kristin has taught at the Universities of Kent, Essex (East 15), Queen Mary London, Liverpool, Northampton and the Conservatoire of Champigny (France). She is also a trained Feldenkrais practitioner and translator of academic theatre texts (French-English). In October 2011 she began an AHRC funded PhD looking at the skeleton, puppetry and autobiography in performance.
