Danielle Wintrip

I'm an independent filmmaker specializing in world building both on and off the screen. As a neurodivergent bisexual with hidden disabilities its important to me to raise the voices of those that have been systematically excluded from sharing their stories, which is why I advocate and help first time film makers, particularly those who live in rural settings, and have been a strong supportor of the Alberta Film Industry for the past decade.

I am a director of the board for the Alberta Media Arts Alliance Society (AMAAS), a regional representative for the Northwest Territoried and The Prairies for the Independent Media Arts Alliance (IMAA) and the President of the Lethbridge Independent Film Society (LIFS).
