Through the visual art form, I would like to show my artistry through the movie/television the Cinema medium. Growing up I gravitated towards suspense, comedy, action, and thriller, but when my thoughts kiss the pages of my scripts- my result is drama. I don’t want to pigeon whole my talent into one genre specific genre, so I am looking forward to writing storylines such as your Rags to Riches, Tragedy, Overcoming the Monster, and Love/Community.
I want to tell stories of Overcoming the Monster because this type of story requires me to sharpen my research and interviewing skills from an amateur level to a professional level. I take pride in creating relatable storylines that bring a particular community together while using the value system. I want to strengthen my writing ability that touches other stories such as Love vs. Hate, Maturity vs. Immaturity, and Good vs. Evil. I am prepared to use my value system as a strong foundation to build off.
For me, telling relatable stories where life is valued is my focal point in all my scripts, because if you don’t have your life, you don’t have much to live for. I want to express my life experiences through the value of human connection because everybody has experienced love and heartbreak before. I want to tell stories that make people laugh, sad, angry, and then inspire those to choose to Concore their own battles within themselves or their environment. I want to create questions, to make them think, to make them believe, to make them doubt.
In each story I tell I want my characters to have powerful voices on each page. I want them to be memorable and definitive. I want my characters to interact with each other in meaningful and important ways that leaves my audience astonish.
